You can reach Courtesy Patrol 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The Association provides 24-hour surveillance of the Common and Residential areas. The authority of the Courtesy Patrol personnel is limited to a 'Watchman' status. Their main duties include:
• To report violations of Association rules and regulations.
• To protect the common areas and facilities.
• To assist the residents as needed to report violations to the County authorities.
The courtesy patrol does not have the authority of the local law enforcement agencies to enter resident’s homes, arrest, or detain people. The presence of this Limited Watchman Force is not intended to provide adequate protection for residential homes in our community. Residents are still cautioned to take the proper steps to protect their homes, especially during those periods when the homes are not occupied.
Villages are encouraged to establish a Neighborhood Watch program with the County. Information is available in the Management Office to assist the villages in becoming organized and to submit the necessary request for the 'Neighborhood Watch Program'. Please act accordingly when you need the assistance of Police, Fire or other emergency agencies of the county by dialing 911.
